The goal of this project is to design an office that brings the community of Microsoft together in an open/ collaborative space. This concept is achieved by incorporating the elements of nature,human-touch and regional relevance. Having a nature-infused space is very beneficial for the users of the space. The idea of bringing the outdoors indoors, and the characteristics of natural outdoor qualities like having many plants and greenscapes throughout the space. As for the human touch it is achieved by incorporating inviting textures that add depth, warmth, and tactility to the space that gives the user a sense of comfort and touchability. The office space connects back to Ottawa by the materials that are to be used throughout the space, like copper and lumber.
